The Philadelphia Union finally have their first playoff win in club history.
It came on their fifth attempt -- they lost all 4 previous playoff matches -- against the New York Red Bulls in Round One of the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs and it came in dramatic fashion. Down 2-0 and 3-1, the Union stormed back to equalize 3-3 and send the match to extratime. Marco Fabian came off the bench to score the winner.
The Union joined MLS as an expansion in the 2010 season, advancing to the postseason in 4 of the team's 10 seasons in the league. Below are the Union's all-time playoff results:
