Saturday's league clash between the Philadelphia Union and Orlando City SC has been postponed due to inclement weather and the forecast of more to come throughout the evening. The game will be played on Sunday at 4:30 pm ET at Talen Energy Stadium.
The game, originally scheduled to kickoff just after 7 pm ET, was delayed before it began due to lightning strikes in the vicinity of Talen Energy Stadium. The initial delay lasted over an hour, before the decision was made for the game to be rescheduled.
The game will be the second meeting between the teams in less than a week, after Philadelphia won 3-1 over the 9-man Lions on Wednesday in Orlando.
The Union will honor tickets from Saturday's match at the gates and they also announced that parking in official Talen Energy Stadium lots will be free for return attendees. The fireworks display that was scheduled for Saturday's match will be rescheduled for another game at a future date.
