Pachuca claimed their second successive CONCACAF Champions Cup title following a 2-1 victory over Saprissa in the return leg of the final.
That success means the Mexican side qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in Japan at the end of the year.
With the tie level at 1-1 following the opening leg, Pachuca needed just two minutes to open the scoring thanks to Christian Gimenez's long-range strike.
Gabriel Rey made it 2-0 with a 65th-minute header before Jairo Arrieta grabbed an injury-time consolation for Costa Rican side Saprissa.
"This is the reward for a job well done," goalscorer Gimenez said.
"Now, we want to improve on the performances we had in last years' FIFA Club World Cup," he added, referring to their first-round defeat against Tunisian outfit Etoile.
The CONCACAF Champions Cup will be renamed the CONCACAF Champions League from next season with more teams entering the competition.
