Orlando City fans will have plenty of unique options for food and drink at their club’s new home.
As detailed by Orlando Sentinelfood reporter Lauren Delgado on Tuesday, the Lions aren’t sticking with usual stadium fare, instead offering a variety of unique dishes at Orlando City Stadium. On the menu? A meatloaf burger, street tacos, a charcuterie plate and a "Cuban bowl" that allows fans to customize a rice and beans bowl with proteins like picadillo. (If you don't know picadillo but like beef, do yourself a favor and get familiar.)
Of course there will also be more traditional options for fans who want to go that route, as well as a selection of Florida craft beers and signature cocktails.
They'll be able to get their first taste of Orlando City Stadium this Sunday, Mar. 5, when the Lions open the 2017 season against New York City FC (5 pm ET; ESPN in the US, MLS LIVE in Canada).
