It was a tale of two halves for the New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers on Saturday as part of the Mobile Mini Sun Cup, as the teams played to a 2-2 draw at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Ariz.
The Red Bulls opened the scoring in the 13th minute through second-year forward Brian White.
2019 MLS SuperDraft pick Sean Nealis doubled New York's lead with a looping header off a corner kick in the 32nd minute.
In the second half, Portland roared back, as Jeremy Ebobisse got on the board just after the hour mark, followed by a penalty scored by Diego Valeri to tie the game at 2-2 in the 70th minute.
