Which is the best crest? That's the question New York City FC are posing to their fans.
NYCFC announced Monday that they've narrowed down their badge to finalists and are asking supporters to determine which one will be unveiled as the club's official crest on March 20. Fans have from Monday until Thursday to vote for either of the two options, and can do so at the club's official website.
The two crests have some similarities but are largely different. One crest features the shield of the official Seal of New York City and would be a unique design within MLS. The other is a circular badge that was inspired by the old New York City Subway Token and represents "unity, wholeness and infinity."
NYCFC, which was announced as an expansion team last May, is expected to begin play in MLS in March 2015.
