The New England Revolution still do not have a win on the road this season, but Wednesday night's result at Yankee Stadium might feel like a victory.
The Revolution used some brilliance from Kelyn Rowe and a late goal from Xavier Kouassi to grab a 2-2 draw on the road against New York City FC. Kouassi nodded home the equalizer in the 86th minute, but only after Rowe impressively juggled the ball and sent in a sizzling cross into the penalty area.
New England twice fought back to take a point from this Eastern Conference tilt. Kei Kamara initially canceled out Jack Harrison's opener in the first half, and Kouassi leveled the score following Miguel Camargo's first MLS goal.

- DROPPED A DIME: Kelyn Rowe, take a bow. Rowe may not have scored the equalizing goal, but he did much of the work on the play that ended with Xavier Kouassi nodding home from the six-yard box. After Ben Sweat tried to head a ball clear, Rowe trapped it with his chest, flicked it up to himself, and then unleashed a wicked ball to the back post in one smooth motion. The assist was a thing of beauty, and something you might want to watch over and over again.
- POOR STRETCH: New York City FC will rue the fact that they let two leads slip away at home, but Wednesday's result will serve to highlight the poor stretch the club is currently going through. NYCFC now have just one win in their last five matches, and have given up as many goals as they have scored (eight) during that spell. Clearly, they miss Yangel Herrera breaking things up for them in the midfield, but NYCFC as a whole just aren't getting it done defensively right now.
- MARA-VILLA: While Rowe's assist will likely serve as the main talking point in this one, David Villa also deserves a shout. Villa continued his tear this season by dishing out two assists against New England, first setting up Jack Harrison's opener with an incredible solo run and then getting the secondary helper on Miguel Camargo's header. Villa now has eight goals and four assists in 13 league matches this year. Not a bad haul from the reigning MLS MVP. Not a bad haul at all.
