STREAMING: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, on DAZN in Canada
The New England Revolution put their 11-match unbeaten run on the line when they host Supporters' Shield-leading LAFC Saturday at Gillette Stadium.
The Revs (9-8-6) moved above the playoff line in the Eastern Conference with a 4-1 victory over Orlando City SC last Saturday in Foxborough. The hosts struck early in each half through Gustavo Bou and Cristian Penilla. Carles Gil made it 3-0 on the hour mark before Diego Fagundez extended the lead to four goals in the 75th minute.
After an early deficit, LAFC (15-3-4) roared to score four times in a 12-minute span en route to a 4-3 win over Atlanta United last Friday at Banc of California Stadium. The hosts responded to Mo Adams' first MLS goal with an avalanche started by Adama Diomande's 33rd-minute equalizer. Diego Rossi, Carlos Vela and Eduard Atuesta followed in quick succession before Josef Martinez struck in first-half stoppage time. An own goal by Eddie Segura in the 51st minute made things a little too close for comfort, but LAFC held on for their fourth win in the last five games.
