TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
The New England Revolution have signed French defender Samba Camara, the club announced Monday.
Camara, 27, joins New England from Ligue 2 side Le Havre AC, where he's made 68 first-team appearances since 2016. The center back comes to the club with eight years and more than 12,000 minutes of experience across France's second, third and fourth divisions.
"We are pleased to add Samba Camara to our roster," Revs head coach Bruce Arena said in a club release. "He's an athletic, left-footed defender who fills a void that we've had in our back line. He will add quality and depth to our center back positions and we look forward to welcoming him to New England."
Camara will be added to New England's roster using Targeted Allocation Money upon receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.
