TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
The New England Revolution made a signing just before Friday's roster freeze deadline, announcing the addition of Argentine midfielder/forward Guillermo Hauche.
Hauche, 25, has played his entire career to date in South America, first in his native Argentina for powerhouse Racing Club, then going on loan to second-tier side Almagro. He's since gone on loan to Chilean outfits Union Española and Deportes Temuco. Hauche recently completed a training stint with the Revolution prior to his signing.
“Guillermo is a very technical player who provides us with another attacking option heading into the final stretch of the season,” Revolution general manager Michael Burns said in a team statement. “He trained with the first team during this past week and we were impressed with his skillset. We're looking forward to integrating him into the team on a full-time basis.”
The Revolution are next in action on Saturday, when they take on expansion side LAFC in Los Angeles (10:30 pm ET | Full TV & Streaming Info).
