TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Roster update
The New England Revolution's deal for defender Samba Camara is void after the player's P-1 Visa application was denied, the club announced Monday.
Camara, 27, was due to join the club after being acquired from French Ligue 2 side Le Havre in December. The player has eight years and more than 12,000 minutes of experience across France's second, third and fourth divisions.
With the deal off, the Revs now have eight defenders on the roster. Antonio Delamea, Andrew Farrell, Michael Mancienne and 2020 MLS SuperDraft selection Henry Kessler make up the squad's depth chart at center back.
The news opens some Targeted Allocation Money and an international roster slot.
