Former Juventus general director Luciano Moggi was found guilty of using threats and violence to coerce players into signing with his son's sports agency Gea World.
Moggi, who was dismissed by Juve following the club's demotion to Serie B in 2006 after the match-fixing scandal, was handed an 18-month sentence by a Rome court.
Moggi's son, Davide, was also found guilty of the same charges and was given a 14-month sentence.
However, as these were first offenses for both Moggis and their sentences are for less than three years, neither will serve jail time.
Italy coach Marcello Lippi's son, Davide, who had been an associate of Gea World, was cleared of any wrongdoing as were the three other defendants.
Gea World was one of the leading agencies in Italy before its dissolution in 2006.
