MLS WORKS Weekly Highlights 11/15 - 11/21

The 2014 MLS Cup Conference Championships begin this weekend in Harrison, New Jersey as the New York Red Bulls host the New England Revolution on Sunday at 1:30 pm ET followed by LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders FC at 5:00 pm.  It doesn’t get much better than a weekend of MLS Cup Playoffs presented by AT&T that includes historic stars on all four teams.  New York Red Bulls’ Thierry Henry and Bradley-Wright Phillips are a difficult duo to maintain but the Revs have a strong central midfield that includes the talented and dynamic Jermaine Jones.  Over on the west coast, the Galaxy and Sounders both have the potential to host MLS Cup 2014 which adds even more drama to the mix.  Eyes are on Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey to put some in the back of the net and give their respective clubs a comfortable lead heading into the second-leg of the Conference Championship.  We are on the verge of a great Sunday Funday of soccer, but before you rally the troops to support these four MLS clubs, make sure you check out how they’ve made a difference in the community.
