In honor of Halloween, MLSsoccer.com held a special MLS Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest where fans submitted their best MLS-themed pumpkins on Facebook and Twitter. Pumpkins varied from club logos, to players, and everything in between. Each submission was judged on creativity, originality and connection to MLS or an MLS club. Two lucky winners were chosen to receive an MLS jersey of their choice from MLSGear.com.
Congratulations to Joel Fandel from Gig Harbor, Washington, who created a David Beckham inspired pumpkin and Daniel Emrazian from West Valley City, Utah, whose Javier Morales/Real Salt Lake tribute was outstanding.

April Leeder: My submission is an FC Dallas-themed pumpkin. The center design is a slightly modified, pumpkin-friendly version of the FC Dallas logo, to the left are the iconic ''Hoops'' stripes, and, at the top, of the logo I carved a miniature Dallas skyline. | Ariel Lopez: As a Union fan, I know our keeper and captain Faryd Mondragon is one of the big reason''s we have made it as far as we have.
