Are you feeling creative? Halloween is just around the corner and MLSsoccer.com is running an MLS Pumpkin Carving Contest from Friday, October 21- Friday, October 28. We want to see MLS-themed pumpkins. They can be club logos, players, etc., so have fun!
Two winners will be selected based on creativity, originality and connection to MLS or an MLS club. Each winner will receive one MLS Jersey of his/her choice courtesy of MLSGear.com, and the photos of their pumpkins will be featured on MLSsoccer.com on Halloween.
There are two ways to submit your photos:
Facebook
To enter on Facebook, upload your image to the Fan Zone tab on the MLS Facebook page. To be considered eligible, your submission must include the following three elements:
- An original photo of your carved pumpkin.
- A brief description of the carved pumpkin and how it’s connected to MLS or an MLS club.
- A valid email address.
Twitter
To enter on Twitter, send @MLS a tweet that includes the link to a photo of your pumpkin. To be considered eligible your tweet must include the following three elements:
- The link to an original photo of your carved pumpkin, available on public domain (ex. Twitpic, Lockerz, Yfrog, Photobucket, Flickr, etc.).
- A brief description of the carved pumpkin and how it’s connected to MLS or an MLS club.
- The @MLS handle and #Halloween hashtag.
The winner(s) will be notified October 29-30 and announced on Halloween - Monday, October 31.
