Round 35 of MLS Fantasy was better than expected for some, due mainly in part to the amount of clean sheets (nine) accumulated. The previous best for clean sheets in a round was eight.
Eleven players scored 10 points or more which is up a few from last week. Five of which are currently owned by 12 percent or more of fantasy managers.
Six teams were represented on this week’s Dream Team and the LA Galaxy led the way with four selections.

Defenders (5)
It was a record-breaking round for clean sheets this week. Eight teams notched a shutout and the LA Galaxy grabbed two. Four defenders led the league in points: Kofi Opare, Matt Hedges, Ibrahim Sekagya, SeanFranklin. Montreal's Karl Ouimette secured the final spot with 11 points.
Midfielders (2)
It was a very low-scoring week for midfielders in Round 35. Only three players scored eight points or more: Justin Mapp, Tim Cahill and Mike Magee. Cahill got the nod over Magee this week for his third DT appearance on the season. Magee still sits at five - one behind Portland's Will Johnson.
Forwards (3)
There were a couple surprise performances from the forwards in Round 35. Panamanian striker Gabriel Torres led all forwards with 12 points. In his last two games he's racked up 22 total points. Don't let this star pass you by. He could be a great pickup for Round 36.
Dominic Oduro and Gyasi Zardes each tallied 11 points, but Oduro's performance was more impressive. Zardes was more lucky than good, but fantasy owners who were hoping for big things, won't mind that one bit.
Oduro, on the other hand, continues to be a dominant player for the Columbus Crew. He has four goals, two assists and 39 total points in his last five games.
Jaime Penedo – (9 points)
Nine goalkeepers secured a clean sheet this week, but Jaime Penedo was the only player who topped the eight-point mark. He made some incredible saves against the San Jose Earthquakes and is proving to be a vital pickup for the LA Galaxy in the short time he's been there.
