TRANSFER DEADLINE: Wednesday, 10 pm ET
Round 16 of MLS Fantasy Manager will kick back into high gear on Wednesday with Vancouver taking on Montreal at BC Place (10 pm ET, TSN/RDS in Canada, MLS Live in USA). This will be the final unlimited transfer week of the season so prepare accordingly.
Montreal and Vancouver have double-game weeks this round. Chicago, Chivas and Toronto will have DGWs in Round 17.
Several fantasy managers will look to add players from Chicago, Chivas and Toronto now, but be before you do, be advised as to which players are on yellow-card accumulation warning.
Mike Magee and Quincy Amarikwa are one yellow card away from receiving a one-game suspension, so if something happens in their first game next round, you will miss out on the chance to earn double points. The same is true with Carlos Alvarez.
Matias Laba is a different story. If Laba gets a yellow card vs Montreal on Wednesday he will be out the following game against Colorado.
Many players will be hit with suspensions from here on out due to yellow-card accumulation so make sure to refer to the disciplinary report on a weekly basis.
