Transfer Deadline: Thursday, 8 pm ET
Led by Obafemi Martins, Clint Dempsey and Lamar Neagle, Round 29 was an explosive week for teammates.
Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane were up their usual selves in LA's 4-0 rout over the New York Red Bulls. Michael Bradley and Nick Hagglund were influential in Toronto's epic 3-2 comeback win over Portland. And Chris Korb and Steve Birnbaum were lights out defensively for D.C. United in their 1-0 win over Philadelphia.
Chicago Fire are the only team in Round 30 with a double-game-week, but don't be to quick to go out and load up on them. They have some favorable matchups on the road at Philadelphia on 10/2 and at home against Montreal on 10/5, but there are some risks involved.
Bakary Soumare is on yellow-card accumulation and some new players are making their way into Frank Yallop's lineup. With that said, I'm going with Lovel Palmer and Quincy Amarikwa this week. Other than that, I'm sticking with my top point-getters.
