SAN JOSE, CA - The official camps of Major League Soccer, MLS Camps, and the San Jose Earthquakes are once again teaming up to bring quality soccer camps and training programs for children of all ages to the Bay Area in 2005. MLS Camps has been a leader in youth sports education for over 35 years, and as an official camp of the Earthquakes, every child that attends a camp this summer will receive a two for one voucher valid for a select Earthquakes game at Spartan Stadium in San Jose.

In addition to quality training through the MLS Camps staff, campers can receive benefits such as a MLS t-shirt, a MLS ball and individual camper evaluations (depending on program selected). The camps are aimed at youth players from ages six to eighteen and training is age specific. Younger players learn through fun and positive enforcement and the "Play S.A.F.E" (Soccer, Awareness, Fun Education) curriculum, while the older players are taught using advanced Major League Soccer techniques and drills and the "A.T.T.A.C.K." curriculum (Attitude, Training, Technical to Tactical, Awareness, Competition and Knowledge). Over 500 players and coaches from the United Kingdom, who are recruited by the Major League Soccer Camps' UK office, lead the programs. Current MLS players also assist in the training.
As part of the MLS Camps commitment to the Bay Area community and the Earthquakes, MLS Camps purchased 53 2005 Earthquakes season tickets and 250 Earthquakes Kicks For Kids tickets, which are provided to non-profit organizations that serve at-risk and underprivileged children throughout Northern California.
