NEW YORK (Thursday, December 19, 2024) – Major League Soccer today released the list of players eligible for Stage 2 of the Re-Entry Process, which will take place at 1 p.m. ET today, Thursday, December 19. The Re-Entry Draft, Stage 2 is conducted in the same order as Stage 1 – the reverse order of the final 2024 season standings, keeping in mind postseason performance and any trades impacting selection order. Expansion club San Diego FC will have the 30th selection.
Not all unselected Stage 1 players will be available for selection as players have the opportunity to re-sign with their previous club after the first stage or may opt out of the process entirely.
