Update:
Minnesota United posted a video explaining how the own goal happened. Serious or tongue-in-cheek? Seems very much the latter, but full credit to Ndjock for being a good sport.

Minnesota United FC lost a midweek friendly to Bournemouth on Wednesday night, falling 4-0 to the English Premier League club home.
It was a tough night for Loons goalkeeper Sammy Ndjock, who, in addition to having three goals put past him, scored this rough own goal to give Bournemouth a 2-0 lead in the 26th minute.
At least it didn't happen in a league game.
Minnesota United were named as an MLS expansion franchise in March 2015. It has not yet been announced whether or not the club will move from NASL to MLS in 2017 or in 2018.
