Mexico Under-20 team breaks out another stellar celebration, but is the idea stolen? | THE SIDLINE

Mexico Under-20's celebrate

The best part of watching the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship isn’t watching which young Americans or Canadians might show us a glimpse of the future.

For now, at least, it’s waiting to see how the Mexican team will celebrate their latest goal.

Two days after they made headlines with this creative five-man bicycle celebration during a 9-1 romp over Cuba, the boys from Mexico were at it again on Monday against Canada.

This time the celebration was something straight out of the labor and delivery room and … well, you get it.

It has to be said, however, that neither of the celebrations the guys performed in Jamaica were anything original. In fact, both appear to have been lifted from Icelandic squad FC Stjarnan, who are well known for their creative celebrations.

Here’s a look at their version of the bicycle celebration, as well as the man-births-soccer-ball affair. And here a fan compiles some of the team’s best, beginning with one that looks like a player using the toilet after he scores.

Nice.
