He’s just an 18-year-old playing in the Sporting Kansas City academy, but Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal is already a celebrity in Malaysia.
The Malaysian-American midfielder spent some time with SKC’s USL side Swope Park Rangers in the second half of 2016 and the early party of this season, completing 87 of 96 passes in two appearances and prompting an enterprising Malaysian YouTuber to make a highlight reel of his 2017 debut.
The video has gone a bit viral, collecting nearly 350,000 views and creating some serious hype back in Malaysia.
