Major League Soccer was a big winner in the recent Telly Awards, with seven of the league's documentaries and features being recognized with honors. MLS was also honored with a Webby Award.

Birth of a Rivalry: Hell is Real
This documentary about the budding rivalry between FC Cincinnati and Columbus Crew SC was one of three pieces to earn gold recognition in the General-Sports for Online category. It was produced by Michael Milberger, had EVO Films as a production partner and also earned Webby Award honoree status.
Unbroken: The Story of Sebastian Lletget
This film about LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget’s recovery from long-term injury was one of six pieces to earn gold recognition in the General-Sports for Non-Broadcast category. It was produced by Demitrius Omphroy and directed by Jared Martinez.
The Night Atlanta Redefined MLS Cup
As Atlanta United took home MLS Cup 2018 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, these scenes got enshrined with silver honors in the Craft-Videography / Cinematography for Online category. Abner Aceves served as director, editor and producer. George Ivanoff and Kyle Green were both producers. Mikey Alfano, Austin Ahlborg, Dillan Forsey, Catalina Gutierrez, Mick Hawkins, Ryan Wood, Albert Lanzillo and Daniel Worlock all provided cinematography.
Beyond the Stands presented by Wells Fargo
This series of shorts with MLS players, as hosted by Jillian Sakovits, took home silver honors in the Campaign: Social Responsibility for Branded Content category. Sakovits also served as a producer, while Jordan Feinauer was a producer and director. Turn11 Media is the production partner.
The Magic of Carlos Vela
The jaw-dropping moments LAFC forward Carlos Vela brings on a weekly basis were captured in this short film. As produced by Will Kuhns and edited by Erik Butts from Goodform, this earned silver recognition in the Craft-Editing for Online category.
The Movement
This series, now in its fourth season and hosted by Calen Carr and led by executive producer Michael Milberger, earned bronze honors in the Series-Webseries: Documentary for Online category. It’s also produced by Kyle Green, with Digital Luz a production partner, capturing some of the best cultural stories from North American soccer.
The Movement – Soccer & LGBTQ Pride: From Stonewall to Wonderwall
This episode of the Calen Carr-hosted series earned bronze honors in the General-Diversity & Inclusion for Non-Broadcast category. It appeared as Episode 2 of the fourth season.
