NEW YORK(Oct. 22, 2018) – During his first season in Major League Soccer, LA Galaxy striker ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC scored his 500th career goal and his jersey finds itself atop the list of MLS player jerseys sold on MLSstore.com for 2018.
LAFC Designated Player and Mexican international star CARLOS VELA holds the No. 2 spot and is one of 18 MLS designated players featured on the list (others include – Josef Martinez, Wayne Rooney, Miguel Almirón, Bastian Schweinsteiger, David Villa, Sebastian Giovinco, Clint Dempsey, Ezequiel Barco (YDP), Diego Valeri, Diego Rossi (YDP), Bradley Wright-Phillips, Giovani dos Santos, Jozy Altidore, Dom Dwyer, Graham Zusi, Darwin Quintero Jr., Paul Arriola).
Atlanta United lead all MLS teams with five jerseys in the top 25 – JOSEF MARTINEZ (3), MIGUEL ALMIRON (5), EZEQUIEL BARCO (10), DARLINGTON NAGBE (15) and HECTOR VILLALBA (18).
