Ahead of the 25th Major League Soccer season, the latest “Our Soccer” campaign has been released for the landmark 2020 campaign.
The video spot features key figures and icons from the league’s 25-year history, with fan culture, highlight-reel moments and more at the forefront. It also arrives as MLS grows to 26 teams for the 2020 season, with Nashville SC and Inter Miami CF both entering the fold.
“‘Our Soccer’ brings to life the fans, players, clubs and unique culture that continues to evolve as MLS begins our historic 25th season,” said David Bruce, MLS SVP of Brand and Integrated Marketing. “The spot celebrates the league’s past, while showcasing the best time to become a fan of the North American version of the global game is right now."
The campaign is set to run across MLS partner networks, including ESPN, FOX Sports, Univision, TSN and TVA Sports, on regional sports networks and across international broadcast partner platforms. It will also run on the league’s own digital channels.
This year's commemorative video spot includes artist Swae Lee, a California native who's also an LA Galaxy fan.
"At a Major League Soccer game, you can really feel the energy and excitement in the stands,” Lee said. “Last season, the LA Galaxy played ‘Unforgettable’ when I was there repping the team. People got up and started dancing. It was a special moment and I'm excited to be out there again for their 25th season."
