Louisville City FC vs. Nashville SC (June 20, 7 pm ET)
The lone all-USL matchup in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 16, Louisville City FC and Nashville SC meet at Lynn Stadium with each side looking to book a first-ever berth in the quarterfinals.
Plus, if LAFC defeat Sacramento Republic FC (10:30 pm ET), the winner of this game will be the lone remaining lower-division team, which brings with it a $25,000 prize.
Defending USL champions Louisville City defeated the New England Revolution, 3-2, in the Fourth Round with Brian Ownby scoring the 62nd-minute winner as Lou City rallied from an early one-goal deficit.
In their first year in the USL, Nashville SC knocked off the Colorado Rapids, 2-0, at Vanderbilt Stadium with Ropapa Mensah’s 78th-minute goal sealing it following an own goal by Michael Azira in the first half.
The teams split a pair of league games this season with Louisville City FC opening the season with a 2-0 home win on goals by Luke Spencer and Niall McCabe 10 minutes apart in the second half.
Nashville returned the favor on May 13 with a 2-0 win of their own at First Tennessee Park as Lebo Moloto struck for a brace.
