Los Angeles Galaxy single game tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. PT

CARSON, CA - The 2005 MLS Cup and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup champion Los Angeles Galaxy announced today that single game tickets for their fourth season at The Home Depot Center will go on sale this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Galaxy fans now have their chance to acquire single-game tickets for each of the club's 16 regular season home matches in Carson beginning this weekend.

"We are very excited about our 2006 home schedule and are pleased to announce that tickets to individual games will go on sale this Saturday," said Galaxy President and General Manager Doug Hamilton. "We strived this year to make our schedule the most fan-friendly in club history by playing fifteen of our sixteen home dates on a holiday or weekend."

Highlighting the schedule is the MLS Season Opener against the New England Revolution on Saturday, April 1 at 8 p.m. (PT) at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University - Dominguez Hills. Also among the highlights of the schedule is the first game of the 2006 Honda SuperClásico series against Chivas USA on April 15 - which will be a Chivas home game - and the Galaxy's eleventh consecutive "Football and Fireworks" celebration on July 4 against the MetroStars.

Overall, the Galaxy's home regular schedule features fourteen weekend dates (eleven Saturdays and three Sundays). The two remaining home games will be played on Tuesday (one game - the annual Fourth of July Extravaganza) and Thursday (one game - Honda SuperClásico Game #2). The club's longest extended stay at The Home Depot Center will be a four-game stint to kick off the season, even though April 15 will be considered a road contest.
