He may not have succeeded in his quest to bring Jermaine Jones to the Chicago Fire last year, but hip hop star Lupe Fiasco has finished one of his soccer-related tasks.
Fiasco, named the US national team music director by U.S. Soccer for the 2014 World Cup run, released the complete track of his USMNT anthem, "Stellar Light," this week.
Though Complex magazine notes on their website Fiasco released the track a full eight months after the end of last year's World Cup, the thing with art is that everybody knows you just can't rush quality. And to his credit, he appears to be a bonafide soccer fan.
