Landon Donovan will be in the booth for the US’s Copa America Centenario quarterfinal against Ecuador on Thursday (9:30 pm ET; FS1, UniMas, UDN), FOX Sports announced on Wednesday.

Donovan will provide color commentary for the match, with JP Dellacamera set to handle play-by-play duties. Jenny Taft will be the sideline reporter for the game, which will be broadcast live on FS1.

This will be the first time that Donovan, the USMNT’s all-time leader in goals, will be in the booth for a US match. He was FS1’s color commentator for Tuesday’s 3-0 Argentina victory over Bolivia and served as a studio analyst for ESPN during USMNT matches at the 2014 World Cup.

FS1’s coverage will begin at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, with an expanded 90-minute pregame show airing live from CenturyLink Field. Rob Stone will host the pregame, halftime and postgame coverage. He’ll be joined by analysts Alexi Lalas, Fernando Fiore, Stu Holden and Seattle Sounders forward Herculez Gomez.

Fiore will host a special 30-minute edition of Copa Tonight immediately following the conclusion of the postgame coverage, with Lalas, Donovan and Aly Wagner serving as analysts.

FOX also announced the announcing teams for the other three quarterfinal matches: John Strong and Holden will call the Colombia-Peru match on FS1 on Friday. Both of Saturday’s matches will air on FX, with Mark Followill and Eric Wynalda covering the Argentina-Venezuela contest and Strong and Brad Friedel working Mexico-Chile

FOX will announce the assignments for the semifinals, final and third-place match next week.
