A few weeks after MLS honored the US national team legend by naming the league’s MVP trophy after him, Donovan starred in a new commercial for Wells Fargo (WATCH ABOVE).
In the spot, Donovan – or should we say, “Don Ovan” – plays an anonymous weekend warrior who’s joined a local rec team. Only problem? He can’t get off the bench for his new squad, which is led by a true star: Hat Trick Rick.
