TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Loan
The LA Galaxy have loaned midfielder Joao Pedro to Gymnasticos Syllogos Apollon Smyrnis in the Super League Greece, the club announced on Monday.
The 25-year-old native of Portugal will go on loan for 10 months, with the Galaxy able to recall him during the length of the loan.
After making 26 starts in 28 appearances a year ago with one goal and two assists in a solid debut season, Joao Pedro has started just once in three appearances with a total of 85 minutes this season. His last appearance — and start — came June 30 in a 3-3 draw with the San Jose Earthquakes.
