After SJ's 2-2 tie with the LA Galaxy, Bobby Convey says LA is not as good as everyone thinks

San Jose’s Bobby Convey is simply not impressed.


Just hours after being announced by LA manager Bruce Arena as an All-Star replacement for the injured Jonathan Bornstein, Convey says Arena's Galaxy “are not as good as everyone thinks.”


The ESPN2 Game of the Week on Thursday between San Jose and LA finished in a 2-2 tie with a last gasp Galaxy equalizer by Landon Donovan. Convey classifies the result as a loss as far as the Quakes are concerned.


New York Red Bulls star Thierry Henry, who scored on his debut against Tottenham Hotspur in the Barclays New York Challenge on Thursday, could soon be joined by another French attacking DP.


Henry was the star of the match at Red Bull Arena but made news before even taking the field: the former World Cup champion took the local PATH train to get to the stadium.
