Kenny Chesney returns to Pizza Hut Park

FRISCO, TX - Reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney is coming back to Pizza Hut Park for the third consecutive summer. Kenny Chesney's 2008 Poets & Pirates Tour, which also includes four-time Entertainers of the Year Brooks & Dunn and Grammy-winning tour mate LeAnn Rimes, comes to Frisco on Saturday, May 3 for the second stop of a 14-stadium summer tour.

"My fans are used to a lot of energy and a lot of fun," explains the three-in-a-row and current Academy of Country Music and triple and reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year. "So when you're trying to make a big show out of what we're already doing, you have to really pay attention, really make sure you've got the very best of the best...because we're trying to give them as much as they throw back at us."

FC Dallas Season Ticket holders will have a chance to order tickets to the concert during a special pre-sale from 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21 until 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22. Please contact the FCD front office for more information (888.FCD.GOAL).

Chesney returns to Pizza Hut Park for the third consecutive summer, having drawn crowds of 27,337 fans in 2006 and 26,342 in 2007, which rank as the second and fifth largest concert crowds respectively at Pizza Hut Park.

Chesney's shows - known for the tailgating, cook-outs, touch football and Frisbee playing and general block party vibe long before the gates even open - are the ultimate good time. It has helped the singer/songwriter from Luttrell, Tennessee become the only artist to sell in excess of a million concert tickets for the last six summers - with 2007's Flip Flop Summer Tour being the 2nd biggest tour behind the Police's Reunion.
