The Kaká Show will be coming to national TV on Friday night.
Although Orlando City have been cautious with the midfielder’s early-season thigh injury, head coach Adrian Heath said this week that he expects Kaká to be ready for Friday night’s home showdown with the New York Red Bulls (7 pm ET, UniMás in US, MLS LIVE in Canada).
“He’s day-to-day, but he’s training every day,” Heath told the team website. “Barring any issues overnight, he’ll be OK.”
Kaká has missed five of the team’s eight games so far this season, including the last two, although the club still rank second in MLS with 1.88 goals scored per game. He has two goals and two assists in just 260 minutes.
Friday's game will also feature an emotional and almost immediate Orlando return for center back Aurélien Collin, who was traded from Orlando to the Red Bulls last week.
