The Seattle Sounders have typically gone bold and bright with their third kits in recent years.
Remember the electricity yellow kit in 2010 or the super cyan trimmed in electricity from 2012? Not this time.
Get ready for "Pitch Black."
On Monday the club revealed new black 2014 third kits at the CenturyLink Field Pro Shop, but these have merely a hint of bright green as the only brilliant color on the three stripes down the sleeves as well as on the neck line.
The new jersey also features a badge with a 3-D feel (known in the jersey biz as a lenticular crest) and the club name "Sounders FC" on the back neck.
Every MLS team is unveiling new jerseys as part of 2014 Jersey Week, which is being held from March 3-7 in the lead-up to the start of the new season on Saturday, March 8.

The Sounders' rivals, Portland Timbers are the only other MLS club to unveil a new third kit during Jersey Week.
