Inter Miami CF have revealed the full coaching staff for their inaugural MLS season, featuring a mix of former colleagues of head coach Diego Alonso and several faces with coaching experience in the US lower divisions.
Claudio Arzeno will be an assistant coach, serving in the same position he did alongside Alonso at his two former Liga MX clubs, Pachuca and Monterrey. Also returning to Alonso's staff are assistant coach and fitness coach Mauricio Marchetti, sports scientist Gustavo Metral, and assistant coach Albert Rude.
Eagle-eyed fans may recognize the name of assistant coach Anthony Pulis, who was most recently the head coach of Saint Louis FC in the USL Championship for over two years. Pulis, the son of longtime English Premier League manager Tony Pulis, also served as head coach of Orlando City B for two seasons.
Assistant coach and video analyst Brett Uttley also comes from the USL Championship, having previously worked as the first assistant coach for Rio Grande Valley FC, the affiliate team of the Houston Dynamo.
New goalkeeper coach Sebastian Saja was promoted from the Inter Miami academy, where he was the goalkeeper coordinator and coach. Prior to his work in South Florida, Saja enjoyed a 17-year playing career that included four call-ups to the senior Argentine national team.
