When Noah Beck — a former MLS Academy player turned social media sensation — teams up with MLS GO, magic happens. As Major League Soccer’s first "Social Playmaker," Noah brought his passion, humor, and soccer skills to an unforgettable MLS GO event that left a lasting impact on kids and the community.
Behind the Partnership
Noah is no stranger to the world of soccer. A former midfielder for the University of Portland, he has honed his skills both on the field and off — building a massive social media following with over 33.2 million fans on TikTok. But what sets him apart is his dedication to bridging the gap between soccer’s grassroots and its global reach.
Enter: His collaboration with MLS GO. As "Social Playmaker," Noah is committed to showcasing the sport he loves while inspiring the next generation of players to dream big. Whether as a mentor for MLS NEXT or through his personal platforms, his focus is on bringing soccer to new audiences and building a foundation for the sport’s future in U.S. communities.
“Not many people know the extent of my background with soccer, but it was my first love and has remained an important part of my life,” Noah shared. “My heart never left the pitch.”
A Day at Lugo Park
On a sunny November day, Noah visited Lugo Park in Cudahy, California—home to an MLS GO league run by the City of Cudahy Parks and Recreation. The day was filled with laughs, playful chaos, and soccer drills as Noah led 20 young athletes from the Cudahy MLS GO Summer League through a series of activities. His approach was a perfect mix of skill-building and humor, channeling a Ted Lasso-style coaching vibe that kept everyone engaged.
The highlight of the day? A 1v20 match where a young player in an Orlando City SC GO jersey outplayed Noah, chipping him for the winning goal. As a token of appreciation, Noah shared his bright orange Adidas cleats and signed MLS GO jerseys and soccer balls, making the event even more special.

While the event was filled with soccer action, it also showcased the larger impact of MLS GO in communities like Cudahy. This was the city’s first soccer league in over a decade, and it’s already changing lives.
"This MLS GO program has made an immense difference in the community, from athleticism to togetherness for the kids,” said Brenda Rodriguez, Community Services Director for the City of Cudahy. “A lot of these kids haven't played sports ever in an organized way, and they’ve really come together like a family because of it."
The players involved are learning valuable lessons beyond the field, like teamwork, perseverance, and inclusion.
"We're very grateful and appreciative of Noah Beck's time, and for making it interactive and fun for the kids,” said Gabriel Garcia, Recreation Coordinator for the City of Cudahy. “The kids were excited, and all knew about him. They were cheerful and had a great time.”

Parents echoed similar sentiments about the event and MLS GO’s positive influence on their children. One parent shared, "My favorite part of having my kid in MLS GO is the chance to play and socialize with kids from all backgrounds. It’s a great way for kids to connect, and it brings our community together."
Another parent added, "My son loves the program. He’s always happy when he comes home, and he’s made so many friends here. It’s great for the community."
