Do you want to be on television and tell the country why you love your Dynamo? Well, this is your chance! The Houston Dynamo announced that open tryouts for their next television commercial will be held on June 20th, between 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., on the East side of Robertson Stadium. The commercial will air on KHOU, TV Informa 43, Telefutura, ESPN, MyDynamo.net, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, MLSnet, and various other outlets.
All fans ages 5 and up are eligible to participate in the open tryout. However, Dynamo fans wishing to participate are required to have a game ticket to the June 20th Dynamo vs. Real Salt Lake match. The Houston Dynamo box office will open early to accommodate those that decide to try out at the last minute. Participants are urged to wear Dynamo paraphernalia and will be asked to complete a release form. The commercial will be filmed in both English and Spanish.
Those fans selected to participate will attend a private prescreening of the commercial before it airs to the public.
"Our fans are the most passionate and loyal in all of MLS and in Houston! This commercial has been crafted to show exactly who and what it means to be 'Forever Orange', so why not start with the people who cheer us on every game?," said Dynamo Director of Marketing Lindsay Daywalt. "We are excited to provide this opportunity to our fans, and we're sure they will come out with nothing but Orange exuberance!"
The first 7,500 fans through the gates will receive the second, in a series of three, Dynamo Collectible Art Posters, courtesy of StatoilHydro. The game, scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m., can be seen on KHOU 11.2 and in Spanish on TV Informa 43.
The Houston Dynamo are a Major League Soccer franchise that has won two MLS Cup championships in its first three seasons and represented the United States in three consecutive regional championships.
