2019 MLS Regular Season - Week 22
Houston Dynamo vs. Chicago Fire
BBVA Stadium - Houston
August 3 - 9:00 PM ET
STREAMING: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, on DAZN in Canada
The Houston Dynamo look to rebound from their second home loss of the MLS regular season when they take on a Chicago Fire side winless in 11 road games this season when the teams meet Saturday night at BBVA Stadium.
The Dynamo (9-10-3) suffered a fourth loss in their last five games when they dropped a 1-0 decision to the Seattle Sounders at home last Saturday. Jordan Morris scored the disputed lone goal in the 59th minute, which incensed Houston coach Wilmer Cabrera, who said Morris should have been whistled for a foul just before finding the back of the net.
The Fire (5-10-9) are now five games without a win following a 0-0 draw with D.C. United Saturday at SeatGeek Stadium. Kenneth Kronholm needed to make one save to earn the clean sheet and Jonathan Bornstein, who played 123 MLS regular season games for Chivas USA between 2006-10 before playing abroad in Mexico and Israel, was solid in his Fire debut.
