HOUSTON - The Houston Dynamo has announced the times and dates for its first three Centers of Excellence, as well as specific details surrounding its four Summer Camp dates.
The first date for the Centers of Excellence will be Monday, March 26th, at Quail Valley Community Park, located at 1700 Glenn Lakes Blvd, in Missouri City, TX, 77459.
The Centers of Excellence will continue on Tuesday, March 27th, at San Jacinto Junior College's South Campus, specifically in the Coyotes Soccer Field, located at 13735 Beamer Rd., in Houston, TX 77089. Finally, the third section of the Centers of Excellence will be on Thursday, March 29th, at Langham Creek High School's Soccer Field. Langham Creek High School is located at 17610 FM 529, in Houston, TX 77095.
Other times and locations for the Dynamo Centers of Excellence will be released at a later date.
The team has also announced the dates and times for each one of its Summer Camps. They will be held on June 11-15, July 16-20, July 30-August 3, and August 13-17 (This will be an "Elite Camp" tryout for the Dynamo Academy). All camps will be held from 10:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. at a location yet to be determined.
The Centers of Excellence are designed for boys & girls aged 8 to 14. These elite training programs will provide a carefully structured curriculum based on the Dynamo Academy focusing on the technical aspects of soccer. These exclusive sessions are designed to supplement the training the players are currently receiving throughout the year at their clubs.
Sessions last for eight weeks and meet once a week on the designated night for two hours 5.30pm - 7.30pm. Each session will be opened to 48 players. There will be four coaches per session for a 12:1 ration.
Centers of Excellence will be open to all U8-U10 boys & girls and all competitive players U11-U14 to ensure that schools are filled with the most dedicated players. Centers of Excellence will include the following:
