Injuries to a number of key players have severely limited Estudiantes’ options up top. Therefore, head coach Alejandro Sabella will likely opt for a 5-4-1 formation. The setup will be reminiscent of the one los Pincharratas fielded in a 2-1 loss to Ecuador’s Liga de Quito in the first of two legs for the Recopa Sudamericana.
If that’s the case, American-born teen midfielder Michael Hoyos could come off the bench to pocket his first appearance in the Apertura 2010.
