FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas invites all soccer fans to the FOX Sports Grill in Plano on Saturday, April 15 for the first away-game viewing party of the season. After winning the first two games of the season at home, FCD will play its first road game of the year on Saturday, taking on the Colorado Rapids from INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver at 8 p.m. (CT), in a game televised live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex on KTXA Channel 21.
Located at the Shops at Legacy in Plano on the northwest corner of the Dallas Parkway and Legacy Drive, FOX Sports Grill one of Greater Dallas' hottest dining destinations. With 48 HI-Definition plasma screens complimented with Theatre Sound, the atmosphere of FOX Sports Grill creates a one of a kind high energy experience. The grill includes signature menu items from an entirely scratch kitchen.
This will be FC Dallas' first meeting with Colorado since it eliminated the Hoops in a shootout in the 2005 Western Conference Semifinals at Pizza Hut Park.
Prior to the first team game, the FCD Reserves will take on West Texas A&M on the adidas field at Pizza Hut Park at 5 p.m. Following this game, all of the FC Dallas players who played in the Reserve game will make their way down to FOX Sports Grill for kickoff against the Rapids.
All FC Dallas fans are asked to come out and support their Hoops by wearing Red and White to the FOX Sports Grill. There will be a number of different giveaways for fans that attend this first away-game viewing party of the season, including the "Ultimate Soccer Gift Pack" , the winner of which will be announced on-air during the game by FC Dallas play-by-play man Brad Sham, and will only be available to fans who are in attendance throughout the match.
