Newcastle United's most expensive signing made his debut on Monday.
Miguel Almiron entered from the bench in the 72nd minute during Newcastle's 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton on the road, as Wolves scored a stoppage-time equalizer. He entered to a raucous welcome from the traveling Newcastle supporters.
In 18 minutes, Almiron complete 8 of 9 passes, made five recoveries and created a chance. He played on the left wing of a front three.
Newcastle now sit in 16th place, two points above the relegation zone. Almiron could make his first start and home debut on Feb. 23 against Huddersfield Town.
