Two Western Conference adversaries coming off losses in Week 14 lock horns in Frisco, Texas on Saturday night when FC Dallas host the Seattle Sounders.
FC Dallas (5-6-3) have lost four of their last five and are winless in six after falling to the Vancouver Whitecaps, 2-1, at BC Place last Saturday. Dom Badji scored five minutes from full time, but it wasn't enough to overcome a pair of goals 10 minutes apart in the first half by Ali Adnan and Lucas Venuto.
The Sounders (7-2-5) also dug themselves a two-goal first-half deficit en route to a 3-2 loss at Sporting Kansas City last Sunday. That result snapped a six-match unbeaten streak. Raul Ruidiaz pulled the visitors to within a goal in the 63rd minute, but Johnny Russell completed his hat trick five minutes later. Kelvin Leerdam again made it a one-goal game in the 71st minute, but the Sounders were unable to find an equalizer.
