STREAMING: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, on DAZN in Canada
After an emotional rout in the Texas Derby, FC Dallas look to move up the Western Conference standings when they host FC Cincinnati Saturday night at Toyota Stadium.
Thanks to a Zdenek Ondrasek second-half brace, FC Dallas (11-10-7) blasted the Houston Dynamo, 5-1, Sunday and captured El Capitan yet again. Reto Ziegler and Jesus Ferreira scored five minute s apart midway through the first half and Michael Barrios added a goal deep into second-half stoppage time after Memo Rodriguez put the Dynamo on the scoreboard.
FC Cincinnati (5-19-3) also had a Heineken Rivalry Week tilt, but it didn't go as swimmingly for them, losing to Columbus Crew SC in the Hell is Real derby at a sold out Nippert Stadium Sunday. Gyasi Zardes struck for a first-half brace and Luis Diaz struck in first-half stoppage time to give the visitors a commanding 3-0 halftime lead. Kekuta Manneh finally found the back of the net for FC Cincy, but it came in the 89th minute with the result already determined.
