The Countdown to 2015
The scene is set for midweek MLS Cup Playoff action, and the guys dig into each of the semifinal series with the field close falling to four. Plus, Simon explains why he's considering cursing someone Maltese style at the office.
First upit's Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear, who gives an A-plus to the BBVA Compass Stadium staff for his in-game meal while he watched from the luxury boxes on Sunday. Kinnear also advocates for the away-goal rule to be applied, and explains how Houston changed the game in the second half against New York. How about a tactical hint ahead of the second leg? Forget about it.
Portland Timbers hero -- and expectant parent -- Darlington Nagbe is up next to discuss his all-time best goal and what kind of gameplan he expects from Caleb Porter against the Seattle Sounders at JELD-WEN Field. Also, if you're counting down the days at home, Nagbe says he'll be USMNT eligible come Sept. 2015.
The guys also give their thoughts on the gridiron lines on MLS fields this weekend, what Golden Boot winners say about their team and, with Nick Firchau still out on paternity leave, the best baby gifts for first-time parents.
