Eastern and Western Conference Semifinals Matchups Set in Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs

The semifinal round will be played as Conference doubleheaders on Saturday, November 23, and Sunday, November 24

Major League Soccer announced the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern and Western Conference Semifinals schedule and broadcast details.

Four teams from each conference have advanced to the Conference Semifinals, following the completion of their Round One Best-of-3 Series. Of the eight conference semifinalists, LAFC, Orlando City SC, and Seattle Sounders FC advanced to this stage of the postseason for the second consecutive season.

In the Western Conference, No. 1 LAFC advanced to the semifinal round for the third consecutive year with a 1-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC in their deciding Game 3. They will face Seattle Sounders FC, on Saturday, November 23 (MLS Season Pass on Apple TV) who advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals for the 14th time in 16 seasons.

No. 9 Atlanta United defeated Inter Miami CF, the top seed in the Eastern Conference, 3-2 and will make their first Conference Semifinal appearance since 2019. They will face Orlando City SC who earned a penalty-kick win over Charlotte FC to advance to their third Conference Semifinal appearance in club history.

The Conference Semifinals, Conference Finals, and MLS Cup presented by Audi are single-elimination matches. If the score is tied at the end of regulation, two 15-minute extra time periods will be played in their entirety. If the score is still tied at the end of the two extra time periods, teams will participate in penalty kicks to determine the winner.
