The Houston Dynamo, in conjunction with Bear Creek Soccer Club and Westside Soccer Club, will serve as the presenting sponsor for the 25th Annual Houston Labor Day Cup, to be played at Bear Creek Park August 30-September 1.
Throughout the weekend, the event will feature appearances from Houston Dynamo players, interactive games and activities, and high-level competition for youth of all ages.
"The Dynamo organization is thrilled to partner with Bear Creek and Westside Soccer Clubs for such a prestigious soccer tournament as the Labor Day Cup," Dynamo senior vice president of business operations Steven Powell said. "Playing in MLS represents the pinnacle of achievement for youth soccer players in America, and we look forward to identifying the future stars of our league at this historic tournament."
Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear and his staff will offer an exclusive seminar to coaches of registered clubs on Friday, August 29, during pre-tournament check-in.
Youth participating in the tournament will receive complimentary tickets to one of the Dynamo's home contests against the Chicago Fire on Sunday, August 31, or the Kansas City Wizards on Sunday, September 7.
