WASHINGTON, D.C. --
D.C. United announced that the club's official team store will open for business Monday, March 17 and hold Grand Opening festivities on Monday, March 31. The RFK Stadium location will offer fans the opportunity to purchase all official D.C. United team apparel from adidas, as well as additional accessories and novelty items.
"For years, fans have been asking us for the best location to purchase official D.C. United gear," said United Executive Vice President Stephen Zack. "We're happy now to be able to direct them to our official team store."
The D.C. United team store is located at RFK's Main Gate, and will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. On game days, the store will open four hours prior to kick-off, through half an hour after the game. In addition to official team apparel, the team store will also carry a full line of casual wear, headwear, youth and women's gear, jewelry, scarves, home/office merchandise, drinkware and auto accessories.

The Black-and-Red host Harbour View FC in CONCACAF Champions' Cup play on March 18 at RFK Stadium. Following a 1-1 draw in Kingston, Jamaica, Tuesday's winner advances to the semifinal round of the regional tournament. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. before a nationwide television audience on Fox Soccer Channel. D.C. United's 2008 MLS season begins March 29, when United travels to Kansas City to play the Wizards, and the home opener at RFK will be on April 5, against Toronto FC. Group tickets, package plans and individual tickets to United matches not including SuperLiga games and the Los Angeles Galaxy match on June 29 are now available for sale.
